AED Automatic External Defibrillation
Welund's AED (Automated External Defibrillation) course is designed to give the attendee confidence and knowledge to use the equipment effectively in a life threatening situation. As well as in healthcare environments, AEDs are often found in public areas such as shopping centres.
A formal First Aid qualification is not required to attend this course.

Basic Anatomy of the Heart
Conscious and unconscious casualty
CPR and defibrillation
Practical use of an AED
AED Protocols
This course is available to all members of the public as a way to become familiar and comfortable with using an AED in an emergency to support life until emergency services arrive.
